The 32 volunteers from ‘Hold Friends Hope Dreamee Volunteer Group’ visited and volunteered at the Cambodia Holt Dream Center for 3 days from December 21^st, 2016 to December 23^rd, 2016 under the organization of Holt Daegu Community Service Center.

  They have worked on town environment purification and education volunteer for the children at Holt Dream center for 2 days and for the last day, they participated in the local elementary school’s repair of electric facility and doors.

  For education volunteer, they have conducted programs such as k-pop dance, taekwondo, Korean traditional games, nail art, face painting and was quite popular among the children. It had been a valuable time to introduce the Korean traditional culture and became a valuable memory for all.

  Thankfully, with the contribution made by Daegu Hope Givers we were able to install electric facility in the classrooms and change the main entrance of the local elementary school. Before the children had to read books and participate in class in a very dark environment even during daytime because the classrooms did not have light; however, now they can study all they want under bright light. Also the main entrance of the school was very old so it did not look good from the outside and there were possibilities of safety accidents but as we have built a new sturdy main entrance, the children can attend school without worrying now.
