At the end of an alley in the thriving Hongdae Street lies a cute little shop. Entering through the door under the signboard saying ‘Pumda,’ we were embraced by the smell of fruit jam and syrup as sweet as the smile of the shopowner Seon-mi, whose bright face betrays her painful past. She used to dream of starting her own business while working at the Kangaroo Store and now she became the rightful owner of Pumda shop. She still had a long way to go but she is taking a concrete step one after another toward happiness, having another dream of developing the business further and helping other single parents.
