11th Beautiful Teenager Contest Ceremony and Dream Camp Were Held
On August 10th, ‘11th Beautiful Teenager Contest Ceremony’ was held at assembly hall of Holt Children’s Services headquarters. At the ceremony, President Kim, Dae Yul of Holt Children’s Services, Professor Lee, Seung Yeon of Ewha Womans University, and Representative Choi, Yun Hee of Women Sports Association attended. Beautiful Teenager Contest that held its 11th ceremony this year encourage real teenagers who strive for their goals with dreams and hope, who do not lose their dreams and hope even in difficult environment, and who cares for others.
Including Um, Jae Won (Seoul Arts High School 2nd year) who entered Seoul Arts High School as 1st place and continue to dream to become the world’s best trumpet player even in a harsh environment, 8 finalist teenagers were awarded $3000 of dream scholarship. Also, from August 10th to 11th, they participated in ‘Beautiful Teenager Dream Camp’ that allows previous finalists and the current finalists to bond and do volunteer work together for 1 night and 2 days.
